Dr. Katie Heidgerd

Dr. Katie Heidgerd completed a surgical internship followed by her residency at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston in July 2025. Prior to that she completed a rotating internship at Oradell Animal Hospital in Paramus, NJ after earning her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She got her bachelor's degree in pre-veterinary medicine at the University of Delaware and is a proud blue hen. Outside of the hospital, Katie enjoys spending endless hours on the beach, she recently picked up the hobby of sailing, and she loves hiking with her German Shepherd, Meadow. Katie grew up in New Jersey and is excited to be joining the team at Mount Laurel Animal Hospital.
